The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and driven Sales Executive to lead business development across the Southern & London region (including the Home Counties).
This is a predominantly field-based role. You’ll be on the road meeting clients, visiting sites, and developing relationships across your territory while managing your diary independently. You’ll also work closely with our Head Office team in Skelmersdale, with occasional visits required for meetings and collaboration.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience selling into the Construction Industry who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with Tier 1 and 2 contractors.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts.
- Promote Fast Fence’s range of products and services, positioning us as the first-choice supplier.
- Carry out regular face-to-face client meetings, site visits, and presentations.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client forums.
- Use CRM and company-provided tools (laptop, mobile) to manage your pipeline.
- Travel regularly across your region, with some overnight stays when required.
- Attend periodic meetings at Head Office in Skelmersdale.
You’ll need:
- Strong experience in construction industry sales (not limited to hoarding/fencing).
- A proven track record of selling both services and products into the construction sector.
- An existing network or background working with major contractors in the Southern region.
- Subcontracting experience (desirable), giving you a strong understanding of how projects are delivered on-site.
- The ability to influence, negotiate, and build trust at all levels.
- High levels of self-motivation, resilience, and organisation.
- A natural drive to win new business while maintaining long-term client partnerships.
- The ability to work independently while remaining closely aligned with HQ.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the Southern region.
